Let yourself go, I’m so sorry, let your fingers roam, I’ll return in a hurry. Volunteering my heart with a whispered vow, I love you still—yet wish I could disavow. Wishing I hated you, wishing I could forget, but here I am, tangled in the same old net. Where do you go, my lovely, my dear? You leave without a word, and I’m left here. Will I wonder? Every night, every day, chasing shadows, hoping you’ll stay. Nothing else to lose, nothing left to find, I’m closer to where I started, but losing my mind. Empty clothes clutter the floor, remnants of a love that’s not here anymore. Yet still, I grasp for the ghost of your touch, aching for what was never enough. Tell me, my lovely, is it too late? Should I let you go, or fight against fate? For in this void, where hope fades slow, I keep holding on, but maybe it’s time to let go.
