A dark poem of written, hidden, and story, holding fear, fracture and survival in view.
April 21, 2004Early Notebooks
A song written by the hands of higher times,
hidden beneath, a story in rhymes.
Good girls and honey, sweet and pure,
a tale of devotion, both gentle and sure.
Friends to each other, stalking benign,
lingering shadows where hearts intertwine.
All the things they deserve, all they could hold,
dreams of silver, stories of gold.
When innocence meets the hands of fate,
weaving together what they create.
The song hums softly, a lullaby’s grace,
whispering secrets time can’t erase.
A love unspoken, a bond so deep,
promises made that they vow to keep.
Beneath the surface, where truth is entwined,
a story unfolds in the passage of time.
Good girls and honey, friends who aspire,
to reach for the stars, to touch the fire.
A song of higher times, written in light,
singing of dreams that dance through the night.
