A satirical poem of i'm, about, and forward, pressing wit, absurdity and refusal against the world.
April 3, 2004Early Notebooks
I'm going to talk about taking action,
about moving forward, finding traction.
Like today, with thoughts left behind,
I clear the cobwebs in the back of my mind.
Make a little trip, explore new spaces,
dive into the unknown, uncovering traces.
I’m taking on forms, like waves in my head,
riding the surf, where fears are shed.
Flying by, letting worries dissolve,
moving on with no mysteries to solve.
The horizon is calling, and I’m breaking free,
a journey awaits, just the waves and me.
With each step taken, each fear put to rest,
I'm learning to live, to take on the test.
No more waiting, no more delay—
I’m taking action, starting today.
