A dark poem of luck, blossoming, and reasons, holding fear, fracture and survival in view.
April 1, 2004Early Notebooks
Our hearts abloom with luck,
blossoming with reasons to give a damn, to find a friend.
Let it slip away, even if it won’t let you,
even if it lingers like the scent of morning dew.
Touch me, take me to your everglades,
where the wild things grow, and no love fades.
Ever wanting our world to stay in flower,
petals unfurling, hour by hour.
We reach for each other, through tangled vines,
seeking solace in a world that entwines.
Let’s hold on tight, let the blossoms unfold,
a garden of moments more precious than gold.
For in this bloom, in this fragrant embrace,
we find our place, our wild, secret space.
Hearts forever rooted, forever entwined,
a love that blooms, beyond space and time.
