Disco Bob strutted in with a flounce and a jig, in bell-bottomed trousers two sizes too big. His hair was a cloud of glitter and fluff, and his dance moves? Well, they were simply enough. But wait! Who’s that bouncing and flipping its tail? Oh heavens, it’s Barry—Bob’s feverous whale! With sequins and sparkles stuck to his hide, he grooved to the beat with a flip and a slide. “Boogie on down!” yelled Bob with a clap, while the whale did the worm in a sparkly gold cap. The disco lights flashed, and the crowd screamed, “Wow!” as Barry the whale nailed the funky Kung Pow. The DJ was baffled, the crowd was agape, when the whale moonwalked in a silver-lined cape. Bob shouted, “Let’s hustle, you slippery fish!” And the whale spun so fast, he knocked over a dish! There were squid doing the cha-cha, and clams in a line, while Bob and his whale did the Twist extra fine. A jellyfish jived, a shrimp did the splits, and Barry the whale tossed confetti from his... err... mitts? The dance floor was chaos, but nobody cared— Bob did the robot while the whale roller-skated and flared. “Encore! Encore!” the crowd gave a cheer, as Bob and his whale spun away with a leer. But wait—just as they left, the music went quiet, the disco ball dimmed, sparking a riot! For who should descend with a parachute spin? A penguin DJ and his funky dolphin twin! They took over the speakers, cranked up the bass, the penguin rapped lyrics at a lightning-fast pace! And Barry the whale, now back on the floor, broke into breakdance, leaving jaws on the floor! The club went bananas, the roof blew away— turns out Bob and his whale? Just the opening act today. So next time you see Bob, don’t be quick to applaud— there’s always a twist in the land of the odd!
