You said you’d say goodbye, but you ran instead, leaving me broken, your words left unsaid. You fled so fast, without a backward glance, turning our love into a fading chance. Getting out of my mind, trying to clear the air, but all I see is your shadow everywhere. I’m tired of this trouble, the chaos you bring— I don’t need this hurt, don’t want this sting. You were my anchor, but now I’m adrift, lost in the storm of this emotional rift. You said you’d leave, but why did it sting— I guess I believed in the hope you’d bring. I don’t need this mess, I don’t need this pain, you took your love, left me in the rain. Getting out of here, out of my own mind, I need to leave your memory behind. But it’s hard to forget the promises made, when all I’m left with is a love that decayed. So go ahead, leave, be on your way— I’ll rebuild myself, I’ll find my own day. Because nothing but trouble is all you’ve been, a chapter I’m closing, a life I’ll rescind. I don’t need this now, not anymore— it’s time to heal, to shut that door.
