What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare? No time to rest beneath the trees, to feel the whisper of the breeze. No time to watch as shadows play, to let the quiet steal the day. The world spins fast, and so do I, chasing moments as they fly. No time to stand beneath the boughs, to watch as sheep and silent cows graze on fields so soft and green, while I am lost in a frantic routine. No time to watch as she drifts by, gracefully beautiful, a lullaby. Her gentle presence, a fleeting chance, lost in the rush of a passing glance. No time to wonder, no time to feel, to let my heart be still and real. My life is turmoil, a storm of doubt, chasing goals, while missing out. What is this life, if all I do is plan for days I may not view? To see into my future, I no longer care, for the time is now to stand and stare. To watch the clouds drift in the sky, to hear the whisper of leaves nearby. To taste the rain, to feel the sun, to slow my steps and let them run. For life is more than just a race, it’s in the beauty we fail to embrace. So let me pause, let me breathe, let me find what lies beneath. No time for haste, no time for fear, only moments I hold dear. The world can wait, the future too, for now, I choose the present view. So here I stand beneath the trees, letting go, at last, with ease. The doubts can wait, the worries can cease, for in this moment, I find my peace.
