I desperately need to make a list, but it’s not at the top—how did I miss? A task to plan, a plan to do, but somehow, it’s stuck in priority queue. Write it down, yes, that’s the first step— but oh, how quickly I seem to forget. The list I need just lingers there, a floating thought, lost in thin air. Should I start? Perhaps tomorrow, but today I’m busy, buried in sorrow— of tasks undone, dreams misplaced, yet here I sit, staring into space. The coffee calls, a tempting vice, maybe a snack, yes—that would be nice. And so, the list remains unmade, as the hours slip and ambitions fade. I’ll jot it down, I really will— but first, a nap, then another thrill. For the to-do list stays just out of sight, forever waiting for the time that’s right. But when tomorrow becomes today, will I finally get out of my own way? Or will I continue to resist, the act of making that elusive list?
