A oneness of heart, a completeness of self— laughing at everything, even at myself. Trying to hold on to these glimmers of hope, yet ending up feeling more like a joke. I run forward, chasing light, yet find myself slipping back into night. This dance between joy and despair, a fragile balance that’s never quite there. Trying to align logic with romance, only to find confusion, a faltering stance. The more I reach, the more I sink— these thoughts erode me, I barely think. Running through the woods, feeling the fires, the crackle of leaves, the spark of desires. I’m lost in the maze of what I feel, wondering which emotions are real. Hope runs thin like threads of silk, pulling me in, soft as milk— yet slipping away in my grasp, turning into a shadowed clasp. I run forward, but return to my fears, reversals that end in frustrated tears. Trying to combine my dreams and my thoughts, hoping to find what the journey has brought. But all I unearth is a tangled mess, a labyrinth of longing, a heart distressed. How do I reconcile love with the mind? How do I reach for the peace I can’t find? Logic and romance, they twist and collide, a storm of emotions I cannot abide. Running deeper into the woods, away from the echoes, away from the shoulds. Feeling the fires ignite within— the flames of desire, the shadows of sin. And here I am, caught between, the light of hope and the darkness unseen. A oneness of heart, still out of reach, a completeness that life has yet to teach. So I run, and I chase, and I hope to find the solace, the peace that’s still undefined. But for now, I wander through these burning trees, lost in the dance of desires and pleas.
