I am of the people of the sea, Now marooned upon this desolate isle, Locked in a tower, so lonely and high, Bound by cruel masters for many a while. The whispers of the tides call to me, The sea breezes murmur secrets in my ear, Visions dance on the waves I cannot see— Far away, a ship draws near. But storms rage on, and the winds howl loud, A vessel battles the fury untamed; Upon its deck stands a figure proud— Targan, my love, who cannot be tamed. He defies the decree of the Sea Lords' will, Shouting to the heavens, refusing to bow; A prince of the land, yet my heart's warrior still, Facing the Leviathan's monstrous vow. The oracle's words had sealed our fate— Never again would our hearts entwine; Yet for my sake, he battles against the gate Of the sea’s fury, its beasts and brine. "Will you fall, my love? Never to rise? Never to breathe the air so sweet? Never to free me from these ties, Never to walk on the land, our feet?" But the sea beast surfaces alone, And my heart breaks as I drink deep— A poisoned chalice, a bitter throne, For a love forever lost in the deep. Yet a sound beyond my prison door, A footfall on the weathered rock... "Targan, my love, could it be once more?" But alas, too late—my heart has stopped. With one last breath, I hear him say, "Marghinee, my heart, why do you weep?" But the poison’s toll, a cruel play, And I drift to eternal sleep.

I am of the people of the sea, Now marooned upon this desolate isle, Locked in a tower, so lonely and high, Bound by cruel masters for many a while… The whispers of the tides call to me, The sea breezes murmur secrets near. Visions dance on the waves I cannot see— Far away, a ship draws near. But storms rage on, and the winds howl loud, A vessel battles the fury untamed! Upon its deck stands a figure proud— Targan, my love, who cannot be tamed! He defies the decree of the Sea Lords' will, Shouting to the heavens, refusing to bow. A prince of the land, yet my heart’s warrior still, Facing the Leviathan’s monstrous vow. The oracle’s words had sealed our fate— Never again would our hearts entwine. Yet for my sake, he battles the gate Of the sea’s fury, its beasts and brine. But storms rage on, and the winds howl loud, A vessel battles the fury untamed! Upon its deck stands a figure proud— Targan, my love, who cannot be tamed! Will you fall, my love? Never to rise? Never to breathe the air so sweet? Never to free me from these ties, Never to walk on the land, our feet? But the sea beast surfaces alone, And my heart breaks as I drink deep— A poisoned chalice, a bitter throne, For a love forever lost in the deep. Yet a sound beyond my prison door, A footfall on the weathered rock… "Targan, my love, could it be once more?" But alas, too late—my heart has stopped.
