Tomorrow comes, relentless and cold, dragging me from yesterdays foretold. Tales are told, yet these pains still lie beneath the surface where shadows sigh. Stumbling through haste, I forget the past— a blur of moments that never last. Trying to involve myself in jestly jives, dancing to rhythms that keep me alive. But the deeper I fall, the darker it seems, caving into the lies and fractured dreams. Grasping for air, for a breath that is mine, clinging to hope that’s slipping through time. The past is a ghost that haunts my sleep, whispering secrets I cannot keep. Tomorrow looms like a distant star, yet here I am, never getting far. Stumbling onward, caving to the fight, struggling to hold on, yet losing sight. The lies I’ve told, the truths I’ve hidden, a burden so heavy, it cannot be forgiven. I grasp for survival, but what is this life when all I’m holding is the edge of a knife? With each step forward, the ground falls away— a never-ending race to face another day. So let the tales lie where they may, for tomorrow will come, and I’ll find my way. Though stumbling, though breaking, I’ll survive this strife, holding on, even if it costs my life.
