Slow tone, you’re taking me over, a whisper that lingers, pulling me closer. Yet so we go, in circles we spin— stop taking control, let me breathe in. A puppet to your tune, a doll in the breeze, caught in your rhythm, swept to my knees. Give me a moment to land on my feet, give me time to come down, to think, to retreat. Harsh words were said, sorrow prevails, hitting me hard as your story derails. The threads are unraveling, truth on display, I see through the cracks in the things that you say. A slow stream of effort, but I’m drowning here, flooded by promises that never were clear. You push me forward, I try to stay afloat— but what’s this madness denying me... a goat? Perhaps it’s a metaphor, or perhaps it’s absurd, caught in your chaos, every line blurred. Yet here I am, lost in your game, trying to reclaim myself, to break from your claim.
