Here—hold this gold yes to your chest. It sticks better than panic, I promise. You don’t need perfect; you need breath. We’ll count the small wins like constellations. I stand close, a little home of a hand. Look up—the open sky keeps tickets: last bus stub, wrist stamp, proof of passage. Turn: the rule you broke was only fear. Write your name in light on the fogged window; if it runs, we draw again. We shine together, never minus— a bright arithmetic of care. Put a star on it; keep the page.
Alternative version
Here—put a star on it. If you’re shaky, I’ll stand close— palm as a pocket-home. We don’t need perfect; we need true; kindness lands harder than proof. Look up—open sky; we were made to try. Write your name in light— you’re doing alright. Star-sticker heart— a gold yes where the doubt was. We shine together—never less. If you stumble—start again; the sheet in my pocket says there’s plenty left. (Quiet turn) On Thursday I needed help— missed my stop; texted you. You stuck a comet on my sleeve till my breath remembered what to do. Keep the pep talk small— show me the window, not the wall. A kettle clicks; a streetlamp blinks; that’s how the courage links.
Lyrics
Here— Put a star on it. If you’re feeling shaky, I’ll stand close, Hold your hand like a little home. We don’t need perfect, we just need real, Kind words hit harder than the way it feels. Look up—see that open sky, We were made to try. Write your name in light, You’re doing alright. Star sticker heart, Put a gold yes where the doubt was. Star sticker heart, We shine together, **never less**. If you stumble, **start again**, I’ll be there from the very **start**. Star sticker heart, You’re brighter than you think you are. I don’t do mean, I don’t do cold, We lift each other, that’s the code. Little wins, we celebrate, **Sticker sheet in my pocket—pass one round.** Look up—see that open sky, We were made to try. (Spoken) Reminder: You’re allowed to be new. You’re allowed to grow. Every day’s a fresh page, Every breath a little brave. Put a star on your heart, We don’t fall apart. Star sticker heart, Put a gold yes where the doubt was. Star sticker heart, We shine together, **never less**. If you stumble, **start again**, I’ll be there from the very **start**. Star sticker heart, You’re brighter than you think you are. x2 Star sticker heart— Put a star on it.
