I should be the one, to realise the choices— no mystery, no lies, just clear voices. A helping hand, to guide you through, take my hand, let me be your truth. I’ll be the light when the shadows fall, the steady presence when you need it all. Moving in harmony, a dance sublime— but how long can I wait for time? How long will I stand, holding this hope, when all I want is for us to cope with the fears and doubts that cloud our way, to finally see the dawn of day? I want to be the one who holds you near, to banish your worries, to calm your fear. Yet here I stand, reaching through the dark, hoping you’ll see the light I spark. Moving in silence, our steps align, but will you take this heart of mine? Or will I wait, an eternity’s bend, wondering when our paths will blend? So take my hand, I’ll be your light, guiding you through the endless night. For though I’m here, waiting to be seen, I fear my patience may soon run lean. But still, I wait, with love to give, hoping one day, together we’ll live a life of truth, no mysteries to hide, with you by my side, as my heart’s guide.
