These few things I have forgotten, the whispers of a past long begotten. To what end, to what means did they serve? Memories fade on the curve of a nerve. The knowing of what's beyond the veil reminds me how little we truly avail. For every answer, a thousand more, the unknown stretches to an infinite shore. What I once thought I’d held so tight now slips away into the night. The echoes of lessons, the fragments of truth, are scattered like leaves in the autumn’s youth. To forget is to free the burdened mind, to unlearn the limits that bind. For the more I seek, the less I find— a paradox that leaves me blind. Perhaps it is not to learn, but to see, the beauty in what remains a mystery. The knowing that I cannot know is where the seeds of wonder grow. These few things I have forgotten, it seems, are shadows that dance on the edge of dreams. Let them go, let them drift away, for in not knowing, I find my way.
