Jigsaw swinging, punching cloth— pieces scattered, edges lost. Jelled nails strike against a brick, a hardened resolve that starts to stick. Thoughts entwined, pained and frayed, remains of a past that never decayed. Memories cling like a burning string, a tether to moments that still sting. The round river flows, circling back, jigsaws drifting, love turned black. Hope dissolves in the ceaseless tide, a dance of fragments we try to hide. Swinging through echoes, patching the seams, haunted by shadows that fill our dreams. We try to piece together what’s left, but the puzzle's jagged, the heart bereft. Brick by brick, we build anew, yet the jelled nails pierce right through. For every corner that fits in place, another crack shows its weary face. Round and round, the river swirls, carrying the weight of lost boys and girls. Love, a jigsaw—pieces askew, a puzzle unsolved between me and you.
