Flashbacks to my animated life, strung up for amusement, dancing on a knife. A puppet in the spotlight, made to entertain, yet behind the scenes, I shoulder the strain. Free moments spent chipping at stress, sculpting out peace from the chaos, no less. Grasping at fragments, fleeting and rare, a breath of relief in this carnival affair. Laughter and lights, a mask I wear, but in the quiet moments, I strip it bare. For each free moment, I pay the toll, seeking the balance to make myself whole. Memories flash, like reels on rewind, a life lived fast, but peace hard to find. Yet here I stand, amidst the noise, carving out calm, reclaiming my poise.
