All alone in your head, spinning threads of dread, breeding odds that tip toward the edge— the edge of sleep, the edge of dreams, disappearing life, unraveling seams. A pit yawns wide where hope once lay, swallowing light, turning night to day. Deeds of losses stack, a silent scream, no victories here, just a broken scheme. An active role in your own demise, who's to blame? The answers lie in twisted thoughts and sleepless nights— yours or mine, his or hers, it blurs from sight. What does it matter whose soul is spent, whose heart is broken, whose mind is bent? In the end, we all descend, into that pit where we pretend. The odds are breeding, multiplying fast, every moment lived becomes the past. A countdown ticking in the dark— we light the match, we spark the mark. But still we claw, still we fight, against the shadows swallowing light. Knowing well it’s all in vain, for the end is coming just the same. All alone, in your mind's abyss, a haunting whisper, a deadly kiss. So choose your path, play your part— it’s just a dance with a dying heart. For it doesn’t matter, in the end, if it’s yours or mine, foe or friend. We all fall into that final bend, where the lines are blurred, and the stories blend. So take your breath, take your bow— for the time has come, the end is now. It matters not the deeds you’ve done— in the dark, we all become one.
