The less you ask, the less you say— yet every day, you need more room to play. I’m searching for a way to disappear, over and over, like before, but it’s clear— I’m breaking on the edge, crumbling in fear. So distant now, the sound of your voice, a haunting echo, a lost choice. Hit me back, but I can’t bring you back, your accusations hit like a heart attack. You say I’m always wrong, I bend and break, my pride shattered, friction in your wake. You live what you love, hit what you please, and I’m left reeling, brought to my knees. The difference between us—a chasm so wide, a smash of emotions we can’t seem to hide. To find you again feels too much to take, I’m drowning, gasping, for both our sake. Bring us to the surface, let us breathe, but confusion swirls, making it hard to believe. Never-ending tangles of fear pull us down, the weight of it all threatens to drown. We’re caught in a loop, a cycle of pain, trying to connect, but always in vain. You’re pushing away, I’m clinging too tight, lost in the darkness, searching for light. But how do we mend what’s been torn apart, when all we have left are fractured hearts? The less we ask, the less we say, and slowly, we both begin to fade away. But still, I reach, hoping to hold, a fragment of warmth in the cold. Can we break through this wall we’ve made, or are we destined to let it all fade? Hit me back, but not with blame— let’s find a way to heal the flame. For if we let go, if we fall apart, we lose the very essence that’s kept us at heart. So bring us to the surface, let us rise— let’s turn the confusion into a prize. But if you choose to walk away, I’ll disappear, just as you say. I’ll find my way back to myself again, even if it means losing us in the end.
