At the end of the silence, I stand alone, your words fading softly, like a delicate tone. Into the shadows, they glide with light, leaving a void in this still, silent night. Rising above nature, they vanish in air, leaving me stranded in shadows of despair. The silence ignites the war, as hope decays, abandoning me to these desolate ways. Only the longing of my voice, a pleading prayer, remembers the words you gave with such care. But hope is lost, swallowed by time’s abyss, leaving me here, in the silence's kiss. The war within rages, fueled by the hush, as I defy the void, though my heart is crushed. Your words still linger, a whisper confined, a reminder of what was, now left behind. At the end of the silence, I stand alone, with nothing but your words to call my own.
