A satirical poem of pain, deep, and knife, pressing wit, absurdity and refusal against the world.
February 13, 2004Early Notebooks
The pain of betrayal cuts deep like a knife,
shattering trust, unraveling life.
It leads to a loss of all we once knew,
a fracture that widens, a bond torn in two.
Without understanding, we're left in the dark,
grasping at shadows, missing the mark.
The thoughts our wounded heart cries out for,
are lost in translation, unheard at the core.
How can we transfer the ache inside?
The words get tangled, emotions hide.
A plea for healing, a whisper of grace—
yet all we find is an empty space.
But maybe in time, the hurt will ease,
the mind will unravel, the heart find peace.
For even the deepest wounds can heal,
if we find the courage to once more feel.
