Angel, angel, come and raid me— fall upon me from a great height, a star collapsing into my bed. Rain upon me now, tonight, with the fury of a storm and the tenderness of light. Do you remember what’s left of us, this fevered dance beneath the moon? I call to you—King, Queen, or both— it matters not, for here in the dark we are only flesh, only breath, only hearts beating wild against the night. Take me as I am, break me open— a vessel of longing waiting to be filled. For I have nothing but this fire and the shadows we cast as your wings fold around my soul. Raid me, devour me— bring the heavens crashing down. Let us shatter and rebuild in the ruins of each other’s arms, where angels dare to tread and lovers lose their crowns.
