The radio mispronounces home; I answer also. My teeth recount the days in chords; they stumble also. Through rooms of through and wound and bloom, I move slow—also. A cupboard claims the cup I thought was mine; it knows so, also. Two trains exchange their windows, turn my face around—through. I wave to who I was; the wave goes through—also. A jingle for a vanished soap returns—low, round. A stranger hums a counter-tune; we mouth the room-note also. Dear Custodian, sign here; the lease is for a chorus— We host unfinished endings; keep the harbour open also. Five name-tags curl on wood, the ink still warm and bold— Each one mine, each learning where the spoons go also.
