A primal circle of uncertainty, taunting, scanning— I can’t breathe, can’t be real, a side effect of your demanding. I reach out, reach within, tangled in your dream, wondering what secrets lie beneath the gleam. I can’t move, I’m caught under your spell, but I don’t care, as long as you keep me here to dwell. Lost in your gaze, where shadows twist and sway, I’m bound to you, in this endless play. Grasping for conclusions in a world askew, crabs and ghouls crawl through the mind’s view. You say you want to move into my town, but it’s not the distance, it’s how far you’ll let me down. Say you want to be with me, take my hand, I’ll follow you to the edge of this darkened land. I want to be your only one, your number one— the moon to your night, the rise to your sun. But can we escape this circle we tread, where doubts and fears whisper in our heads? The spell you cast is both sweet and cruel, I’m lost in the magic, yet I’m just your fool. So tell me now, before the dream fades, will you stay with me, or drift into the shades? For I don’t care, as long as I’m near— even if it means drowning in this fear. Together we dance, on the edge of this spell, wondering if we’re falling into heaven or hell. I’m reaching out, reaching in, hoping you see— that in this circle of madness, all I want is to be free.
