My permanent accessory, a toast to your health, please ignore the fact you found me on the floor, no stealth. Look at me now, get back together, let me just be— it’s not my fault I find it funny when you're angry. Take a minute, take a breath, listen in... but your patience wears thin as the walls start to spin. You try to fix me, but I've already fallen, the clock in my brain has long since stopped callin’. Another drink, another joke, to drown out the pain, a cycle that spins in an endless refrain. I laugh too loud to cover the cracks, you walk away, but I pull you back. Can you see it now, the mess I've become? The humor’s a mask to hide what’s undone. A drink in my hand, and you at my side— please stay, even though I’ve something to hide. Your patience frays, and I see it clear, but without you, I'm lost, consumed by fear. So, I’ll raise a glass and pretend it's all fine, hoping you'll stay just one more time.
