There once was a yoghurt for Claire, with a note: “Touch this yoghurt? Don’t dare.” By tea-time it’s gone, the phantom moves on— and the fridge hums its righteous despair. A colleague cooked fish in the microwave, turned Thursday to trawler-deck rave. We fled with our mugs, left sticky notes like slugs— HR dubbed the stench “stakeholder wave.” The sponge is a petri dish that sighs; the tea-towel’s growing four eyes.
