Take your alphabet, but say them slow, for too many letters, and down you’ll go. Overexposure to those alphas so bright is an overdose of life that drowns out the light. Surreal it might be, tripping on up, swallow your pride, drain that cup. Chasing a high, yet digging a grave, a lust for life that makes you its slave. Open up to the cravings that gnaw, break from your shackles, ignore the law. But what is freedom if it’s bought with decay, a step closer to death with every sway? The pills and powders, a shortcut to bliss, a lover’s embrace, a poison kiss. Become that which you swore you’d never see— a shadow of who you used to be. Swallowed whole by your desire to feel, the chains you broke, now bind you for real. The high fades fast, the darkness spills, leaving you empty, yet craving the thrill. But be at peace, let the chaos cease, lie forever still, in your final release. For the lust for life was never free— it cost you your soul, your reality. Take your alphabet, say them one by one, until the letters blur and the story’s done. Surreal it was, a trip to the end, a chase for life that death will defend.
