Point that finger at me one more time, and you’ll lose more than you’re worth—no more pantomime. Angry voices rise, the tension’s set, a dog fight brewing, words we can’t forget. No more lies needed in these eyes, I’ve heard enough, I see through the disguise. Wonder not why I shut off my light, there's no room for goodbyes, just the urge to take flight. Clutter fills my mind, a tangled maze, run away, outrun, outlast this haze. I won’t catch the hurt again, I’ve grown too tired— no more reliance on myself, no more fires. Take what you want, hold it tight, sing your song, outshine, outfight. But I can’t hold on to this, letting you lie, holding your head high while I say goodbye. It’s up to you now, watch me leave, as I shed the weight of the webs you weave. I tried so hard, to mind the things that were before, but now I’m closing this door, I can’t do it anymore. I’m done trying to catch the pieces you’ve thrown, no longer willing to break on my own. Let the echoes fade, let the dust settle down— this is the end of the line, no more battleground. I gave it my all, but it’s never enough, holding on hurts, and letting go is tough. So watch me walk away, don’t call my name, I’m done playing this never-ending game. No more anger, no more pain, I’ll outrun the storm, I’ll dance in the rain. For I tried so hard, but it’s time to let go— to leave behind the lies, and reclaim my soul.
