A recorded reading of “Elegy of the Bleached Coral”. If the player does not load, use the original audio source.
Bleached coral, once a vibrant sight, now washed ashore, left to blight. The sand around it eroded and gone, leaves it elevated, a forgotten throne. Once it swayed in the ocean’s flow— an underwater kingdom, a brilliant show. Now it’s stranded, a sad display, a stark reminder of what we can't replace. Its colours faded, the life drained away, leaving behind a pale, ghostly grey. The waves no longer caress its curves; it's now a relic, a memory preserved. As the sun sets on this lonely shore, the coral remains, ignored once more. But let’s not forget what we’ve done; there’s still a chance to save what's under the sun.
