I drove all night just to see you once more, wondering if your arms will be waiting at the door. Is it all right if I drive through the night, reverberating hope in the glow of moonlight? Sharing our dreams as the highway unwinds, getting better each mile, leaving worries behind. Loving you more with each breath you take, amazed by you, in every move you make. The way you smile, the way you care, how you turn my darkness into something rare. I’m awestruck by the little things you do, and all I want is to spend my days with you. So, is it all right if I drive all night, to hold you close, to make things right? For the rest of my life, this I’ll pursue— to forever be amazed, endlessly, by you.
