Direct answer
A question article is useful for AI Overviews or AI Mode when it is indexable, clearly structured, people-first, source-grounded and non-commodity. It should answer the question directly, add first-hand judgement or examples, avoid needless query-variation pages, and make claims easy to verify.
How to use it
- Make the page crawlable, indexable and snippet-eligible.
- Answer the main question in the first section.
- Add original judgement, examples, proof and caveats.
- Use headings to separate sub-questions and steps.
- Avoid mass-producing near-duplicate pages for every query variation.
Example
A page about AI hallucination should not just define hallucination. It should show a source-lock method, a claim register, a review loop and an example of a claim being downgraded.
Caveats and limits
AI Overview or AI Mode inclusion is never guaranteed. Treat this as making content eligible, useful and easier to understand, not as a promise of placement.
