A large sea turtle flies above a surreal landscape with cracked ground and a dry, reddish surface. Modern glass buildings rise in the background under a dramatic, cloudy sky. The scene combines natural and urban elements, evoking a sense of fantasy and otherworldliness.

The artwork presents a captivating scene where the boundaries between earth and sky dissolve into a surreal vision of hope and transcendence. A large sea turtle, its shell gleaming under a soft, ethereal light, floats gracefully above a desolate, cracked terrain.

The reddish, dry surface below contrasts sharply with the cool blue hues of the sky above, evoking a sense of departure from a place of desolation into a realm of boundless potential. In the background, modern glass buildings rise up, their reflective surfaces shimmering under a canopy of clouds that seem both turbulent and serene.

This juxtaposition of natural and urban elements creates an otherworldly atmosphere, where the turtle appears to defy gravity and soar effortlessly. The piece invites the viewer to contemplate themes of freedom, transformation, and the limitless possibilities of the human spirit.

Each brushstroke and color choice reveals the delicate interplay between aspiration and reality, capturing a moment suspended between earth and sky.

Poem

Into the sky, out of the dirt, we rise, we drift— leaving behind the hurt. We float around, hang out in the clouds, the world below, a ghostly shroud. We wish away lives, we whisper goodbyes, the stars blink out like closing eyes. Nothing remains; the world is done— a silent farewell beneath a dying sun. We hover, weightless, in the void’s embrace, letting go of time, of place, of space. In this quiet end, no more to cry— just us and the clouds, drifting by.
