A small, weathered fishing boat sits inexplicably abandoned in the middle of a vast, dry field with neatly furrowed rows. The sky is filled with heavy, dramatic clouds, casting a surreal and dreamy light over the scene. The boat casts a long shadow, adding to the image's mysterious, otherworldly feel.

In a field of neatly furrowed rows, a solitary, weathered fishing boat lies inexplicably abandoned—its hull aground far from any water’s edge. The sky above churns with dramatic clouds in shades of gold, purple, and deepening dusk, casting an ethereal glow over the surreal landscape.

The contrast between the stranded vessel and its barren surroundings evokes a sense of melancholy, as if the boat itself is a metaphor for lost purpose and shattered dreams. Long shadows stretch across the ground, hinting at the passage of time and the weight of ambitions left to wither.

Yet, despite the desolation, there is a haunting beauty in the scene, a reminder that even in abandonment, there is a quiet dignity that endures.

Poem

Alone, I weep—sit alone, wandering thoughts, drifting unknown. Stranded in open, splitting apart, forever alone, alone at heart. I trace the shadows that dance on the wall, echoes of laughter that rise, then fall. The emptiness stretches, a boundless sea, waves of despair crash endlessly. Hands once held now turned to dust, dreams that rust and hearts that combust. Stripped to my bones, no shelter, no shore, I’m a ghost on the edge, forever ignored. Alone, I wander through nights so cold, memories replayed, stories retold. The cracks in my soul, they widen and spread, splitting me open with words left unsaid. Alone, I stand, alone I break, a hollow soul for loneliness' sake. Forever searching, forever torn— a life adrift, lost and forlorn.
